Cultural Intelligence Assessments (Individual & Team)

We offer the CQ assessment online and personalised feedback reports for public, private, and non-profit organisations. Assessments can be used on a one-time stand-alone basis or can be done before and after training sessions.

CQ Multi-Rater Assessment

Participants and their observers complete online surveys, and participants receive a personalised feedback report that includes:

Self CQ Scores: Personal Scores for each of the 4 CQ capabilities (Drive, Knowledge, Strategy, Action) as well as scores for the sub-dimensions for each capability

Observer CQ Scores: Observer Feedback on CQ capabilities and sub-dimensions

World-Wide Norms: Comparison of their scores with the CQ worldwide norms (gathered from more than 45,000 global professionals in 60+ countries.

Cultural Values: Personal Scores on 7 Cultural Value Orientations (e.g. their personal orientation on values such as individualism vs. collectivism, low vs. high context, etc).

Global Potential: Personal progress toward 4 specific outcomes (cross-cultural adaptability, judgment and decision-making, negotiation and strategic leadership).

Reflection: Reflective questions to help them interpret their CQ results.

Development Plan: A personalized developmental plan that highlights strengths and areas for improving CQ capabilities.

CQ Self-Assessment Pro

This CQ assessment is a self-inventory of the four CQ capabilities and an individual’s cultural-value orientations.  Participants complete online surveys and receive a 16-page feedback report.  Reports include scores for the four CQ capabilities and sub-dimensions, comparisons with the CQ worldwide norms for the four capabilities and sub-dimensions, a summary of scores, personal preferences for seven individual cultural value orientations e.g. individualism vs. collectivism, low vs. high context, etc.), and a personalised development plan for enhancing CQ.

Pre and Post Assessments

Programs can be set up for a one-time stand-alone assessment or can include two assessments - such as before and after training sessions or other developmental experiences.

CQ Group Reports

Facilitators and organizations can request CQ Group Reports with aggregated results for a group of participants.

Group reports include demographic characteristics of participants, comparison of participant scores with the CQ worldwide norms, distribution of participant scores (low-moderate-high), and interpretative observations and implications.

CQ Group Reports for specialised programs also include information on the distribution of individual cultural value orientations, comparisons between sub-groups of participants, comparisons between self and observer ratings and/or comparisons between T1 and T2 scores.

CQ Training for Staff

Cultural Intelligence training assists teams to be consistently curious and conscious of the pervasive influence of culture on ways of being, doing and relating at work and everyone at work has culture and is influenced by it, whether they realise it or not.

Cultural Intelligence training programs and workshops are not solely a learning framework for learning about people who are culturally dissimilar to oneself, it is learning about ourselves, the influence of our own cultural backgrounds on our worldview and way of working and relating. It concerns our ability to form and maintain a cohesive relationship with ‘another’ person acknowledging and benefiting from each others culture(s).

Why CQ training?

  • Foster credibility and trust

  • Recruit and understand the advantages of diverse talent

  • Harness cultural assets strategically to enhance the value of your offering

CQ Executive Coaching

Organisational effectiveness is increasingly dependent on people who can be effective and respectful in a variety of cultural situations. IQ & EQ no longer account for success in a globalised business environment. Executive coaching programs serve as vital tools for empowering leaders to harness the valuable asset of cultural diversity effectively. These programs facilitate the development of Cultural Intelligence (CQ) by engaging leaders in reflective processes to recognize and overcome personal cultural biases and values that may hinder their effectiveness in diverse contexts. CQ, as a skill set, fosters the building of trust and relationships across cultures, enhancing perspective-taking and decision-making abilities crucial for driving organizational success in today's global landscape.
