Organisational effectiveness is increasingly dependent on people who can be effective and respectful in a variety of cultural situations.  Constructed by the Cultural Intelligence Centre (CIC) and a wonderful team headed by leading CQ expert David Livermore, this evidence-based assessment of cultural intelligence (CQ) can assess and develop CQ profiles for those in your organisation.

We offer the following online assessments and personalised feedback reports for public, private, and non-profit organisations. Assessments can be used on a one-time stand-alone basis or can be done before and after training sessions.

CQ Multi-Rater Assessment

Participants and their observers complete online surveys, and participants receive a personalised feedback report that includes:

  • Self CQ Scores: Personal Scores for each of the 4 CQ capabilities (Drive, Knowledge, Strategy, Action) as well as scores for the sub-dimensions for each capability

  • Observer CQ Scores: Observer Feedback on CQ capabilities and sub-dimensions

  • World-Wide Norms: Comparison of their scores with the CQ worldwide norms (gathered from more than 45,000 global professionals in 60+ countries)

  • Cultural Values: Personal Scores on 7 Cultural Value Orientations (e.g. their personal orientation on values such as individualism vs. collectivism, low vs. high context, etc.)

  • Global Potential: Personal progress toward 4 specific outcomes (cross-cultural adaptability, judgment and decision-making, negotiation and strategic leadership)

  • Reflection: Reflective questions to help them interpret their CQ results

  • Development Plan: A personalized developmental plan that highlights strengths and areas for improving CQ capabilities

CQ Self-Assessment Pro

This CQ assessment is a self-inventory of the four CQ capabilities and an individual’s cultural-value orientations.  Participants complete online surveys and receive a 16-page feedback report.  Reports include scores for the four CQ capabilities and sub-dimensions, comparisons with the CQ worldwide norms for the four capabilities and sub-dimensions, a summary of scores, personal preferences for seven individual cultural value orientations e.g. individualism vs. collectivism, low vs. high context, etc.), and a personalised development plan for enhancing CQ.

Pre and Post Assessments

Programs can be set up for a one-time stand-alone assessment or can include two assessments - such as before and after training sessions or other developmental experiences.

CQ Group Reports

Facilitators and organizations can request CQ Group Reports with aggregated results for a group of participants.

Group reports include demographic characteristics of participants, comparison of participant scores with the CQ worldwide norms, distribution of participant scores (low-moderate-high), and interpretative observations and implications.

CQ Group Reports for specialised programs also include information on the distribution of individual cultural value orientations, comparisons between sub-groups of participants, comparisons between self and observer ratings and/or comparisons between T1 and T2 scores.

Strength Assessment

Harness your TOP 5 strengths for enhanced cross-cultural relationships

Knowing your strengths is only the beginning. Gallup research proves that people who actively use their strengths are more likely to:

  • Achieve goals
  • Display confidence & self-assurance
  • Experience an excellent quality of life
  • Be more energetic, well-rested and happier
  • Be less worried, stressed, angry and sad

Perception about what is a strength or virtue in one culture may be perceived as a deficit in another. Strengths are culturally influenced. Individuals with high CQ have a greater degree of Intrapersonal awareness and awareness of one's own strengths significantly improves our ability to have a great relationship with others.

IQ / Cognitive Assessment

Understanding your learning strengths is the key to unlocking your potential for future growth and achievement.

IQ or cognitive assessments are used. An IQ test, performed by an appropriately qualified Psychologist uses the results to identify much more that a simple IQ score.  The administration of the IQ test usually does not take longer than 60-80 minutes. This is a face 2 face test. It cannot be virtually administered.

What we are able to tell from the results of an IQ test.

·      A biological basis for strength or weakness in organisational skills

·      Identify opportunities to improve verbal comprehension and verbal expression

·      Understand your current memory functioning and become aware of strategies to improve your memory. We can also link you up with Australia's 4x Memory Sports Champion,  Mr Tansel Ali  -

·      Identify potential opportunities to improve your concentration and focus

·        Identify potential opportunities to improve your processing speed  to work quickly & efficiently

·      Identify potential in understanding your suitability for future job or study options

Other tests are also used to identify other learning difficulties, such as Dyslexia testing for adults, Mental health screening tools, Coping & Motivation scales.

After the IQ test, we provide you with:

· A comprehensive report with an overview of the clients result with an accompanying interpretation section of what the results mean for the learning potential of the learner.

·  We make  recommendations for learner to work towards their stated goals.

·      A 30-minunte feedback session for the job seeker about the results

·      We send the Psychological report to the funding employment agency within 3 weeks from the assessment date.

Without You: Rising above the impact of an abusive relationship

Without you I discover we had very diverse cultural scripts when it came to ‘doing respectful relationships; and the one you were acting out wasn’t based on ethnicity or religion, it was enabled by selfishness and apathy - Monique Toohey

You’re stuck. You feel like you’re at the end of your tether in this relationship. You’ve tried the A-Z of everything in you’re knowledge and power to make things better and it’s still not enough. Most adults who have gone through an abusive relationship can clearly see that things aren’t working, but they just do not know what to do. On the one hand a little voice inside your head persistently whispers that perhaps this relationship is beyond repair and you are exhausted trying to fix things. On the other hand it’s just so hard to let go of something that you’ve invested years in and detaching from both the good and the bad, and more so if there’s kids involved. Sitting on the fence of indecision is a really uncomfortable place to be and not being aware of the side-effects of an abusive relationship leads to self-blame, unnecessary shame and a lingering sadness. Rising above the impact of an abusive relationship is a journey and Without You will help you to arrive at a destination that shows you recovery is possible.
